Welcome to St Leo’s Catholic School
We pride ourselves on being a small, family orientated school with small class sizes and experienced and passionate teachers. Our Catholic School is part of a Christ centred community of faith guided by our Mercy values. We aim to educate the whole child – mind, body and spirit – promoting both excellence and integrity in all our students.

We are not zoned so all enrolments are welcome.

Principal's Welcome

Nau Mai Haere Mai,

My name is Vimi Chandra and I am very proud as principal to lead and serve St Leo’s Catholic School. Our school values of compassion, hospitality, respect, service and social justice are extremely important to us and are the essence of our school curriculum. St Leo’s students stand proud and strong in their faith. They respect themselves, others and creation. Our students are encouraged to be active participants in their school/parish community.

At St Leo’s, we want children to feel happy and secure to develop self confidence in a safe and supportive environment where learning is central to all that we do. Through our rich curriculum we aim to develop the whole child and encourage our students to strive for excellence. To enable this to happen, our very dedicated teachers aim to prepare our students for a future that is ever changing. This learning is underpinned by our Mercy values and encapsulates our mission “to love, to learn, to grow in faith”.

At St Leo’s we embrace the opportunity to teach your child the skills, knowledge and attitudes to become confident, creative and curious learners who are connected to the community and wider world. St Leo’s is a strong and supportive community and it is a place where learning is fun! Please feel free to visit us or contact the school for further information.

Sunday 15 June - Family Mass/Confirmation and First Communion 9.30am
We would like the whole school to attend this family mass to show support for the children who will be confirmed and making their First Communion.  This is instead of our normal family mass during the term.  Please bring a plate and drop it at the hall on your way to church and then join the Parish in the hall for a shared morning tea after church.

Have a lovely weekend.

Kind regards
Renee

We have been informed that there is a power line down on Albert Rd, just by the crossing on the church side of the street.

We will not be letting any children leave via the Albert Rd gate today so if your child usually crosses the road to get to you can you please pick them up elsewhere.

Kind regards
